Looking forward to trying a lot of these recipes for my 2, 4, and 6 year olds. I'm always looking for new and easy ideas for mealtime and I think I've found some good stuff in this book.
You don't need to be a kid to have a cheesy potato boat or Black Beany Burger for lunch. Just sayin'! As a busy single person I like the simple, fun stuff too -)
Contains some great quick recipes for kids and adults alike! Who doesn't love BBQ chicken? It also contains a section of vegetarian recipes if you are looking to dial back on the meat a little bit.
Always being busy and working so much, I always worry that I will not have time to make healthy meals for my four kids. After reading this amazing book, I finally have some ideas from 'Forty Healthy and Easy Lunch Recipes for Kids.'
A few of them that have my interest already include BBQ Chicken Sandwich, Cheesy Chicken With Red Sauce, & Gobble Gobble Burgers. My kids will enjoy these meals, but something tells me that I will be making them for myself and my wife even when they are not around!
I get up at 4am daily for an early work day. So these recipes are great for me because the prep time is minimal. The photos are beautiful and helpful. I have to see the meal and my child is a picky eater. The food has to look good in order for her to eat it and all these recipes look beautiful and delicious. I can't wait to make these meals for her and mix it up.
I grew up in a family where we constantly ate out and aside from 2 holidays a year, we never cooked. When my own kids starting eating solids, I found myself completely clueless as to how to make them healthy meals. We ended up feeding our daughter the same few meals over and over again and struggled to come up with new healthy kids recipes. We now have 2 kids and whenever I have a few free minutes I try to look around for some new ideas for kids recipes. Forty Healthy and Easy Lunch Recipes for Kids has some really great ideas that are fantastic for cooking with kids. My kids are 4 1/2 and 2, and really love cooking with me. I'm excited to make lots of these lunch recipes with them - I know they'll enjoy it and based on the ingredients, I can tell they'll like the meals.
